Natalia Przybysz

Natalia Przybysz is generally known as a vocalist of a Polish soul and R&B band Sistars (award-winner of MTV Europe Music Award which broke down but played again together in 2012 as a support before Jamiroquai & Prince). In August 2011 Natalia performed before Erykah Badu at the concert in Warsaw. In summer 2012 she released a record on the 50th anniversary of Janis Joplin’s debut. The project was well received by the audience and the critics. According to editors of the Internet portal Jazzsoul Tour, the premiere of Kozmic Blues was one of the most important musical events of the year. Critical acclaim and the high audience turn-up at the concerts resulted in the release of the album Kozmic Blues; Tribute to Janis Joplin win June the following year. This success was the inspiration to Natalia Przybysz’s next record Prąd which turned platinum (30 000 copies sold). In 2015 Natalia received the Fryderyk Award in two categories –the Album of the Year for Prąd, and the Single of the Yearfor Miód. In May 2017 her CDS Światło nocne had its premiere, heralding Natalia Przybysz’s new album under the same title, which was premiered on the 1st of September 2017.
