Swedish-Polish composer, sound artist and musician working in the fields of installation art and electronic music. Her practice spans across sounds design, composition for ensembles, music for dance, sound and light installations, as well as working in different artistic research projects. Forsberg’s work has been performed at festivals and concerts in Sweden, Germany, Italy, Japan, Denmark, England, China, Malaysia, Thailand and Poland.

In 2014, Marta founded Konstmusiksystrar together with composer Lo Kristenson – a women and trans separatistic organisation working for equality in the contemporary music scene in Sweden.

She has a BA in Electroacoustic Composition from the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm and has also studied composition at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
