An emblematic figure of the contemporary and experimental harp, Hélène Breschand leads a career as a soloist, as much through contemporary creations as through improvisation and musical theatre.
An international soloist, composer, performer, she is co-founder of the ensemble Laborintus with Sylvain Kassap and Franck Masquelier, collaborates with composers such as Luciano Berio, Bernard Cavanna, Pascal Dusapin, Luc Ferrari, Eliane Radigue, and plays with many improvisers.
She belongs to a generation of musicians eager for cross-border experiences. Exploring the fields of a total art, we find her in dance, cinema, theatre and visual arts, with Christian Marclay, Karelle Prugnaud, The Dø, David Toop, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Caecilia Tripp and Christian Ubl.
Her current groups include: Chansons du Crépuscule with Elliott Sharp, Imaginarium with Wilfried Wendling, and IRE with Philippe Foch, Christophe Ruetsch, Kasper T. Toeplitz and Franck Vigroux.
