In 2011, Apartment House presented John Cage's music at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. In 2012, they received the prestigious Royal Philharmonic Society Award for Outstanding Contribution to Chamber Music and Song. The band has recorded for BBC Radio and a number of radio stations in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Austria and France.
Their work is addressed to various audiences. They perform not only in traditional music halls and festivals, but also in cafés and galleries. In addition to performing on the world-famous stages, which started more than 20 years ago, the band also engages in less traditional activities, such as an experimental course in the French Pyrenees.
