A theatre and opera director. A graduate of the Theatre Academy in Warsaw (2007) and a fellow of the Institut des Etudes Théâtrales in Paris. During her studies, an assistant to Jerzy Jarocki in the National Theatre, Mariusz Treliński in Warsaw and Natasha Parry Brook. In 2017, she took the second place in an international competition for opera directors in the National Theater in Mannheim, and this award resulted in planned cooperation with the Mannheim opera. Partum’s interests focus around contemporary opera, her latest performance of Luci mie traditrici by S. Scarrino (shown during the 2016 Warsaw Autumn) was received very well by curators of numerous music festivals. This year, the performance received an invitation to the NODO Festival of Contemporary Music in Ostrava. Apart from operas and drama performances, she also directed a musical titled Nine according to 8½ byFellini in the Capitol Theatre in Wrocław. Over the years, this performance has been attended by more than 30 000 viewers. Presently, she is preparing a premiere of the most recent opera by Philip Glass according to The Trial by Franz Kafka for Opera na Zamku (Opera in the Castle) in Szczecin.
