Gailė Griciūtė is a Lithuanian composer, sound artist and improvising pianist working widely in the fields of both music and contemporary art.


Gailė studied classical piano in Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, art with Douglas Gordon in Städelschule in Frankfurt, composition in Music Academy in Vilnius and for one year taught piano in Bhutan.


Gailė writes music, collaborates with visual artists, improvises on prepared piano and most recently, together with Viktorija Damerell, she founded an experimental song duo Eye Gymnastics which is one of the most interesting acts in Lithuanian art music scene of the last few years.
